Supplement your training with our specialty courses, clinics, and classes

VARIETY IS EFFECTIVE. SPECIFICITY IS FUN.

Our training sessions are constantly varied. We do a different workout every day because we know that the more variety we put into our training, the broader and more inclusive our fitness will become. This broad and inclusive training makes us prepared for the unknown and the unknowable and much more resilient. We do this because it works.

We also know that people have preferences. There are likes and dislikes in the kinds of workouts we do. So, we offer specialty courses, clinics, and classes to let people do a little more of the types of things that they love. We add specialty work because it’s fun.

 SPECIALTY CLASSES

Our specialty fitness classes are recurring classes that happen on a regular basis. These are a great way to supplement your training with things you like or even things you need

MOBILITY CLASS

Our mobility classes are 50 minutes long on Monday evenings. This class focuses on restoring the full range of motion in our joints, through addressing soft tissues, joint capsules, and motor control.

Each class has a different focus to ensure we don’t neglect any area of the body and work towards improving the quality of our tissues and movements.

The class is taught by our head coach Clayton Borah who is a certified TRS Movement and Mobility Coach.

RUNNING CLUB

Our running club meets twice a month on Sunday mornings from March to November. We spend various amounts of time running the trails around Nampa and Boise. The runs are typically a timed out-and-back style so everyone starts and finishes at the same time regardless of how fast you run.

This is a great supplement to any training program because you get someone else to plan your run for the day, you get to run with great people, and enjoy the benefits of trail running.

This class is coached by Coach Bertha who, before becoming a CrossFit trainer, was a running coach for many years.

 SPECIALTY CLINICS

Our specialty clinics are one-day intensives sprinkled throughout the year. These are designed to allow several people to focus on an area they like or want more work on. Unlike our specialty classes, these vary throughout the year as we see a desire or need to offer the clinic. Here are some examples of clinics we’ve offered previously.

SPECIALTY COURSES

Our specialty courses last between 4 and 8 weeks and meet for about 2 hours each week. These courses are designed to guide participants to improve their skills dramatically with a lot more practice and work on the subject at hand. Imagine how much you could improve with 8-16 hours of coach lead practice on a specific style of training.

Most of our specialty courses are offered once a year but depending on demand they can be offered multiple times. Over the past couple of years we have offered
