What Is Semi-Private Training?

Semi-private training (SPT) is personalized coaching in a small group format.

Here's how it works:

  • You train with 1 or 2 other people (max 3 people per session)

  • Everyone has their own individualized program

  • One coach manages the session and coaches each person

  • You get personal attention, corrections, and adjustments—just not 100% of the coach's time

Think of it as: Personal training with a few workout buddies.

what you get with semi-private training

  • You stop guessing what to do
Your program is built for YOUR goals and body. No more wasted workouts wondering if you're doing the right thing.
  • You never train alone
You show up to familiar faces who know your name. Shared energy and accountability without the chaos of a big group.
  • You get stronger, consistently
Your coach tracks your lifts, adjusts your weights, and ensures you're progressing every week. You see measurable results.
  • You feel capable again
Daily tasks get easier. You move better. You feel confident in your body. That's the point.
  • You get expert eyes in every session
Every session is coached start to finish. You get cues, corrections, and adjustments in real time. You're never just handed a workout.
  • You save time and money
Less than the cost of 1-on-1 training. All the personal attention you actually need. No wasted gym sessions figuring it out alone.

What Semi-Private Training Looks Like

Your Initial Sessions

Everyone starts with our 4-session on-ramp program. This isn't just an assessment—it's your foundation.

What happens during your on-ramp:

  • We assess your movement patterns, range of motion, and current fitness level

  • We learn about your injury history, limitations, and specific goals

  • You learn our coaching system and how we run sessions

  • You get familiar with the equipment and basic movement patterns

  • You meet other members and start building rapport

  • We build your individualized program based on everything we learn

By the end of your on-ramp, you're ready to train confidently in your regular SPT sessions.

Your Training Sessions

Frequency: Most clients train 1x per week (you can add more)

Session length: 60 minutes

Group size: 2-3 people per session (capped at 3)

What happens in a session:

  • General warm-up altogether

  • Specific warm-up for your workout

  • Coaching & Workout

  • Mobility and cool-down

Your coach manages the session, provides cues and corrections, tracks your progress, and adjusts your program over time.

Your Programming

Your program is built for YOU:

  • Your goals (strength, range of motion, conditioning, balance, etc.)

  • Your injury history and limitations

  • Your current fitness level

Everyone in your SPT session will be doing different exercises. You're not following the same workout as everyone else.

You train alongside others, but you follow your own plan.

What to Expect

Weeks 1-2: Learning Your Baseline

Focus: Movement quality, technique, and establishing a training rhythm.

What you'll notice:

What you'll notice:

Who Semi-Private Training Is Perfect For

Former Athletes

You used to have a team. A coach. A plan.

Now you're winging it at the gym—and it's not working.

SPT gives you back the structure and team feel you've been missing.

You don't need someone holding your hand through every rep. But you do need a plan that makes sense and teammates who show up when you do.

Structure Seekers

You're tired of guessing what to do at the gym.

You've tried group classes—too chaotic.

You've tried training alone—too isolating.

You've considered 1-on-1 training—but it feels like overkill.

SPT is the sweet spot you've been looking for.

You get coaching and structure without feeling like you need maximum hand-holding. You get team energy without getting lost in a crowd.

Feeling lost

You used to know what to do. Now every workout feels like guessing.

You don't need motivation. You need a plan that works and a coach who handles the thinking.

SPT lets you show up and execute.

No guesswork. No wasted time. Just clear progression. Your coach handles the programming. You handle the training.

How Semi-Private Training Compares

Semi-Private Training vs. Personal Training

Semi-Private:

  • Small group (2-3 people)

  • Individualized program, but you train alongside others

Personal Training:

  • 1-on-1 every session

  • 100% of coach's attention

  • Best for: significant injuries, rehab, or maximum customization needs
