We repeatedly see that our glute muscles shut off because our jobs require us to sit all day, our glute muscles shut off. We don’t have to use them, and they just stop working. Then when we need them for exercise or other physical activity, we aren’t as capable as we should be.
The muscles of our backside are large and help support the entire frame of our bodies. If they are weak or not being used effectively, our body can compensate by using the lower back muscles, which can lead to lower back pain.
